Removing & installing these two parts

I just ordered replacements for the following external parts on my 2008 Yaris Liftback (see attached photo), after they got damaged by the sun and heat.

They're listed as the following in the Toyota parts catalog:
  • 6011752030, Corner cover. COVER SUB - Assembly, P. COVER, Pillar. (Front)
  • 7575552030, Door Applique (Front)

Does anyone have experience removing/installing these, and can you offer any advice/tips so that I'm aware when I proceed?

I believe that the front cover (A) is held by an internal attachment piece, and I read somewhere that you'll need to remove it from that in a specific way (turning motion?). I also believe that the applique (B) is held on just by an weather-resistant adhesive and not any clips, but am not totally sure about this.

I think A is press-in clips, B is definitely adhesive. When the new parts show up it should be very obvious how A attaches. The good news is that you're replacing them so it doesn't matter if you break them finding out how they are attached. =)

Sorry for the very late reply. Yes! The corner moulding by the side view mirror has an attachment piece, and the door applique by the center pillar uses adhesive tape.

Thanks for the update and pictures! looks like the clip on the A pillar piece is near the top, and the B pillar has clips top and middle (along with the double sided tape)
