As a heads up guys in NE if you need a shop to go to that seems pretty reputable for performance work so far I am extremely impressed with ProTree Performance out of Hudson, NH. They also do body work too...not sure they can de-Simonese Twin your ride from a Snowblower tho...

they're the ones tuning your car? That is cool, a couple hours for a good tuner is fine by me. It is so hard to find people worth trusting.

Yes, and Alex has been amazing. I found out that I really should pick up a fuel pump with return line to reach my max potential. I kinda got a great deal because I was able to justify driving the 420 miles to fly from Manchester instead of local because with mileage and the plane ticket I was coming out about 200 cheaper than flying from my local airport. I am paying for the bulk of my tune with my mileage so essentially almost getting tuned for free!

As for dates that seems to be a moving target for sure. I know that my bodyshop is targeting to have my car the month of April now instead of March. If folks wanted to meet up in April then I could possibly move myself to May, but that is getting really close to July which is when I have my next LSR event that I will not miss for the world. I am just really hoping too that it (LSR) won't interfere with IA if they actually have it again this year.

For those further south, I can recommend Banchwerks in Pawtucket, RI.
www.banchwerks.com
Their specialty is German stuff (Dubs, Beemers, etc.)but they are more than qualified for anything else.

are they at devens? I so wish they had events in eastern Mass. Google Maps claims 2 hours but I just don't believe it.

It's about 2 hrs from Jamestown, RI, so I think you'd be a bit longer for sure

its held at Quonset State Airport in North Kingstown, RI

http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/257755630980511/

unlike the events at devens, here we actually get to run our cars, 1.25 mile track, average lap time 1:30 - 1:45, if you dont take a break you can run upwards of 30 laps easily. and nobody has to work the track. they work with smaller groups like 30 cars max usually.

all the events at quonset are put on by Advanced Driving and Security Inc. http://hpds.1adsi.com/

Indeed. Even though we have lost a couple up this way, it seems that we've gained quiet a few.
