Custom front end

Aloha, I am looking for a custom front end for my 2007 Yaris 3 door hatch. I have converted it to electric and do not have a radiator and want to taper/lower my front end. (something like a Porsche 911) if you can imagine it. I will have to basically change the whole front end and head lights and wondering if Anyone here has seen such a custom conversion and where?

thanks
francis

I know a couple of PPL who work with fiber glass and with real CF but that's in Puerto Rico. Have you tried the shops out there where you live for something you would like to do with you vehicle

Of course it's road legal. This will have awesome torque (100% always available).

I'm curious what your range will be, and the weight with the conversion complete.

I don't know about licensing in Hawaii but I'm sure the CEL is on because of no oxygen sensors. If emissions is the same as it is here in the states the plates can't get renewed.

That car will be exempt from emissions, just as it would in California.

He may or may not have to add a sound source for backing up the car -- I've heard this is now required in some states.

That picture is better than porn to an engineer like me...

For your conversion, I would treat it like a custom audio enclosure. Start by attaching blocks to points and then laying fabric over it and adding/trimming/moving blocks until you get the general shape that you want. You can do one side and then mirror the blocks to the other. Then, lay fiberglass cloth and coat it with resin.

Build a frame from cardboard till your happy with the shape and attach points , cover cardboard in tinfoil and then lay the fiberglass resin coated mat over that . Then build up to a useable thickness and then sand sand sand ...gelcoat
Sand primer sand paint clear coat.... Just a quick forum post but thats how I build larger custom parts for my stingrays in years past.... Oh and use a course mat to start the glass lay .
