Talking Rims + tires for a 2007 Yaris sedan

My first post (yay!)! Please be gentle with me, I am a complete n00b when it comes to anything mechanical about cars, and I have been having difficuty understanding the language used in some of the other threads.

I recently bought my first car, a 2007 Yaris sedan, and I'm very interested in getting some large(r) rims and thus new tires for it. Right now it just has the stock tires and default toyota hub caps. I was hoping for a nudge in the right direction, or even some suggestions for rims (16" or 17") that would look good on the light/powder blue sedan.

Thanks so much!!
