Ok then I'm just paranoid ...thanks folks I'm still monitoring my current tank already at 465km still got the last 2 bars.. But knowing my car I have less 10 km for that 2nd bar to drop..

last tank gave me 474 km and filled up with 37.2 liters i guess thats a little better than the previous tank.. damn this cold weather.

This cold spell has got to f'n end! Just logged 9.2L/100km (26.08mpg) filling up yesterday. There has only been a handful out of 375 fill ups recording over 9L/100km in my 7 year history with this car.

that sounds about right for the mileage. In montreal it been alot colder than GTA area. We've been getting down to -45 with wind at least in my area of Quebec, with the this cold snap been having problems with the gas cap. Have to bring it in overnight and place it back before I started in the day. It was the cause for my check engine light. Not sure if it was the spring or the lock part but it doesn't like this arctic weather.

windchill doesn't matter to cars..-25 is still -25 for a car, even with the wind.
Anyways, my last tank, i just did 395km with 38L of gas. That makes 9.6L/100km with 90% city only. I also idle about 5mins, while i put my son at the daycare. |

i know i will do crappy mileage with my car if i don't hit the highway.. but my last fill up was a month ago or something like that.

I haven't paid much attention lately to mine, but usually when winter hits and I put the snow tires on, I end up between 500 - 600km per tank, depending on how many bad snowstorms we get. **My commute is mostly Highway, 80km highway, 5km city approx.
Put the summer tires back on and I end up around 700 - 750 per tank, though I always end up on the last bar, flashing quickly, i've put in 40.6L at one point. 5 years old and 245,000 km at this point. |
