01 Yaris Windscreen washer

Hi folks.
I have a 01 yaris (which goes and looks really well) however the windscreen washer front and back stopped working..
When I press the lever to get a water spray there is no sound from the motor.
Q: Any ideas what might be the problem ?
Thanks in advance for help.

Because the motor isn't making noise, it is probably an electrical issue, so I would check the fuses first. The owner's manual should indicate where to find the fuses and which ones are for the wipers. If the fuses are blown, then replacing them may fix the problem, and doing so is very cheap and easy. You can tell that they're blown if the filament inside the colored portion is broken into two pieces.

If the fuses are good, then the problem is likely in the wiring or the motors, which will be a bit more complicated to check and fix. But check the fuses first.

I had a look at the fuse today...It appears the wiper and washer have the same fuse...
It looks like it might be another problem (hopefully something simple.
Any ideas
