Windshield Treatment Problem - Page 2 - Toyota Yaris Forums

I've applied Rain-X to my windshield (by hand) with excellent results however nothing had previously been applied there with exception of Windex.
I used papertowels, not microfibre.

Just hit it with the clay bar and it'll help alot and then use rubbing alcohol to remove any left overs. If the windshield is truly pitted then there is not much you can do. If that is the case then I would suggest buying AquaWax made by Duragloss. Sold at carquest around here. After cleaning use it instead of rain-x it will do the exact same thing except completely clear and will fill the pits without making them stand out.

try Autoglym glass polish, cleans exceptionally well, removes chemicals and all manner of filth from glass. Use a clay bar once and a while as well.
