If there is still interest in this, I have a fabricator who built a custom bracket for me to use on my Sparco seat. I also added a little more tilt to raise the front leg bolsters and keep the butt down low.
If there are at least 5 committed buyers, I'll get a price and a design made in the next week using my oem seat. PM me or post it on this thread. Bear in mind that this will be made from steel, so it will cost a bit to ship. |

Do you have any kind of a ballpark estimate? --is this for driver only?

Probably start with the driver. Not sure if the passenger is simply a mirror-image, or different mounts. Definitely under $100, plus shipping.
Fabricator is Martin Brothers Bikes (www.martinbrosbikes.com) if anyone has questions about the design/weld quality. |

Okay, so I just looked under the seat and checked out the mounts. How is this going to work? The bottom of the slider in the rear of the seat already sits flush with the floor -- or at least the two humps that rise out of the floor. This kind of seems impossible...

I'd also love to get the seat position lower.
Eliminating the slider alltogether is the first step.

I'd be in, even if it meant eliminating the slider mechanism. This high seating position drives me nuts.

I'm in, but still need to keep the slider. And a lower driver's seat and a raised passenger seat would look ghetto as hell so I think you should definitely do both driver and passenger seats.

There is a local fab shop that may be taking a look at my Yaris soon to see if they could make a seat lowering bracket. I'll keep you all posted.

Maybe just a little^-^ It would be interesting if this had panned out nicely though.
