stock 07 hb wheels width? 6 or 6.5?
Hey guys.. Have a queston on my o7 RS which comes with the 15" wheels .. what is the width of them ... I'm buying Tom's Intercept wheels next week but the are 15 x 7 with a +45 offset just wondering is I'll have any clearing or rubbing issues? I know that the Tom's website says for our cars you should use the +37 offset butr I cannot get them.. sooo? What do you think?
Thanks in advance for your answers. The Stock offset for our car is +45 as well correct? -Rick |

I think they're 6.5"
You should be okay with 15x7 +45 offset, just get the right tires.

Okay this is bugging me cause I want these Tom's wheels... So pulled out the user manual to see if the answer was in there and sure enough it was in the back of it... it say's that the 15" wheels which mine has is 15 x 5.5...
So according to this handy website http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp it says when I punch in the details that my Inner Clearance is 19mm less (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) And that the Outer Position is extended an extra 19mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)... So that means the fitment would be way off right and will not work... -Rick |

Yeah I think 40 offset is ideal... Mine are 38 and they could stand to stick out a tiny bit more, there was a tiny bit of rubbing on the inside at full lock

stock wheel width is 5 inches, but I also went to a 15x7 +38 with a 225/50 tire and I have no problems... stock offset is +38
