ABS LIGHT & E BRAKE LIGHT

Hi,

I started my car this morning and the e break light did not turn off and the abs light was on. When I was coming to a complete stop the ABS was kicking in even though I was not slideing? It only happened a few times, then stopped but the lights are both still on.

I then tried to slam the break in the snow to see if the abs would kick in...but no luck, it seems like the abs stopped working.

Any ideas? Has anyone come across this issue?

Thanks

A.R

Yup, read the above links. I too have had the same problem here in New Hampshire. Parts have been on back order for 2 months. If you have less than 36000 miles on the car it will be taken care under warrany and a TSB posted in June of O8. If not and you don't have the extended warranty it'll cost you between 300 to 500 dollars PER side to fix. Talk with your dealer. Brakes will still work but the ABS will not work. Lights may go out in a day or so or they may not. Good luck
