for everyone (dropped 380 bucks) and I figured I would also try a trico exact fit. This is my time to test a new batch of blades [Just got done testing Michelins, RainXbrand, and Tripledge last 3 years] so I went with Trico NeoForm on my Yaris, Trico exact fit (not so exact) rear. and AquaPel as a surface coating (RainX only on side and back windows) PIAA silicones on my 4runner and OEM rear insert, with RainX and Silblade silicone for my GF, and sister gets PIAA's, with RainX these silicone blades are not cheap and I do not want to test AquaPel with Silicone blades. I need to test with old-school Trico blades to know what Aquapel really does or does not do this winter |

"...housing, but Trico dropped the ball on this one."
wouldn't be the first time. same issue on my old car, the curvature of the rear glass was not matched by Trico (and other aftermarket brands). the only remedy was to use the factory backing (the metal insert) which was bent correctly to conform. same story on Yaris...the blades look almost the same but definitely are not the same.

Any Toyota part number that has "YZZ" in it may be a "Toyota Genuine Part", but it's not a factory part. it's common for wipers, oil filters, cabin filters, and some other fast-moving parts. We (the dealership) sell these because they're less expensive for us, and for our customers, and they're still high-quality parts that are approved by Toyota. I'll post a list soon of wiper blade part numbers for Yari.

I must have lucked out with my trico rear blade...its not perfect, but its about the same as the factory. Irregardless I still love the neoforms on the front - the crappy weather in Wisconsin the last 3 days has proved that over and over to me. Happy Thanksgiving ya'll.

If so, I take it none of them lived up to your expectations? Hence your high regard for trico? |

A little advice: don't buy wiper blades from NAPA!!! They are the worst investment in my car I ever made. Threw them in garbage next day due to the loss of receipt and went back to Toyota's OEM ones.

I've been trying to buy a new set of neoform beam blades for the front since my last post and the 14" passenger side has been out of stock nationally all fall and winter. I just got an email from wipers123 and they're back in stock. Just thought I'd share because its one of the only 14" beam blades available for the yaris.
