K&N typhoon kit installed - Toyota Yaris Forums

hey guys

just an update , installed the k&n typhoon kit to my TS , and what i can say is ... WOW , what a great improvement on the 1.8 engine. im also running an exhaust from the oem middle box , combined with the k&n intake , its really great, good rev response , def power increase i can feel , and a great turbo like sound up top in the rev range , all round one of the best mods i have done on the TS.

cool;i found this CAi a few month ago, but here in Europe, the price is around 300E.too much.in USA i saw ~ 250$.a "little" difference.

will try stick up a vid , the car has been running really well , gave a honda civic B18 with camshafts and hinding ;-)

nice bro !! you gonna love it , the car pulls alot better throughout the rev range , and the power curve seems to move a little higher up

glad you got it on buddy , makes a nice increase of acceleration ! you loose a little top end speed , but , you get up to speed ALOT quicker ! congrats on your intake !

the sound is amazing.
before when acceleration hard in 1start gear it sounded horrible asif it didnt want to rev but now is sounds so bassy, very good intake
