2nz-fe speed sensor help

im kinda stuck with buying a speed sensor for my yaris.
check engine light would randomly turn on and the car would not change higher then 3rd gear. tried scanning once and got a p0500 which led me to the speed sensor(car had flood damage previously)

the car is a 2007 yaris, 2nz-fe automatic.

so asking/looking around led me to a speed sensor(part no.89413-32010). even asked around here, which they told me its this part no.

i found some on ebay, messaged one seller and they said it wont fit my car. but the item still has the matching part number.
looking around the part number it seems to be used in various cars and whatnot.

can i just buy/use it if it has the matching 89413-32010 part no. even tho it says its for another car?
also is there 1 or 2 speed sensors?, as sometimes im see some VSS while searching. one is like L shape with little magnet tip and the other is like a stick with a gear or something......

hope i was clear..

E-bay and E-bay sellers can be incorrect at times. So here's what I do. Find a listing for the part you want from a salvager listing most of the time they list the donor vehicle VIN. Cut, then pasted than vin number into the "ToyotaPartsDeal.com" website under the "My vehicle" option center of the page. That will tell you what MY and model the donor car was. Now find the part number and compare that to the part number for your vehicles VIN. If its a match, contact the E-bay seller and confirm the VIN number is correct in the ad. Presto! The correct used part is found.

PM me your VIN and I can verify via the international Toyota Parts Catalog.
