Hey, do you think it is better to buy the 98 dollar one, or rebuilt the same one I have? If I get that one, I would need to wait for it until it gets here..
I am kinda in need,, and need it now.. Ken |

couple of good rebuild shops in LA you might get them to rush it for you.
Make sure they do more than just change the brushes. you are 100% positive the alternator failed? http://www.socalaltandstart.com/ also: Allen Alternator Company 11650 West Gateway Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90064-2829 (310) 475-8477

^+1 There is a known issue with 07's with the voltage regulator corroding. If you have the flickering battery light, then that is the typical cause. I pulled apart the alternator on my 08 that I bought as a wreck (and it had been outside with the alternator exposed to the elements for a year). Based on what I found, if a corroded 07 is the same, a can of contact restorer and some new stainless 4mm and 5mm screws will fix it: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...05&postcount=2 |

Was the issue fixed for the '08's?
My car was built in Jan '08..
