Wow, very nice. New cars are always fun, especially when they're a proper hot hatch. Happy for you and hope you enjoy the hell out of it, but a little sad to see another Yaris out of the game.

As someone who came to the Yaris from a Golf I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your new car. I fear you're going to need it.

I thought the same, but he is a toyota tech so most things he can fix himself and save money.

Haha, let's just say that VW has made a huge change in there cars and for the money you can't go wrong.
Yaris is and was a good choice back few yrs back but now they charge stupid money for nothing new...also I'm a licensed tech and can say from personal experience that vw is not what it was few yrs back.
Not trying to defend my purchase but honestly Yaris SE is not worth 20k and the VW golf I'm getting was same money with way more to offer so basically no brainer.
In my honest opinion Toyota today is just banking on their name with nothing new.

I will never buy a Toyota product again and one main reason is that I did work for Toyota and so first hand how much of a BS that company is and the product they make...if it was not for warranty recalls we would have not much to do plus other problems that ppl don't see first hand.

There is no car that is perfect but when a company runs on its name with no return I say it's time to move on.

Just saying and sorry you had issues with your vw, after all it's only a car.

I am and have first hand knowledge on anything about Toyota....and it's why I'm leaving Toyota brand for something worth its money at least to me and yes if anything I can fix it.
I have left Toyota dealership two yrs ago and work at a shop that does nothing but imports, BMW, audi, Benz and vw plus many more and I see less issues with all mention than Toyota....i have a different prospective when it comes to cars I guess plus I so needed a change from jap cars lol

Anyway back to topic at hand... Price has been dropped to 3300$ with safety and emissions test results.

It's what I have it posted at on Kijiji and autoTRADER.ca.

For Yaris forum ppl I can make it even a better deal, car is going to be plated and insured till sold if one needs a test drive.
