Talking Stock suspension + 800lbs = nice drop.

Had to run a few trips of bagged soil for yard work. 800lbs a trip (1000 lbs with me in it). Over the factory weight limit but this workhorse can do the job.

Here's the result. Wish it always looks this low but yeah, there was some rubbing over bumps.

Twenty - 40 pound bags? LOL!
You'd never know they were in the car by the photo. Pretty cool, thanks for posting this!

Yup, twenty 40 lb bags of top soil. Did 3 trips. Didn't want to borrow or rent a truck. No need. About 8 bags on the front passenger floor and seat. 6 on the rear seat floor, and 6 in the trunk. Can't over load the trunk with weight or you'll be dragging badly so I tried keeping much of the weight toward the front.

If I was sitting in it for the photo, the front would be dipped a bit more.

Even with 165,000 miles on the original springs and struts, no problem.

Exactly - Spread the weight out evenly (wouldn't be much different from having THREE 250 pound wrestlers in the car) Ha! Top soil is cheap, the cost of a rental would have made them 10.00 bucks a bag probably...

Space was no problem. I could have fit another 15 bags in, particularly stacked on the back seat, but the weight would have been damaging. I only filled the trunk half way. The weight is just too much.

I believe the factory set weight limit is 800 lbs. Naturally, it's an underrated figure for typical manufacturer reasons. They're considering ultimate safety and performance and covering themselves from all possible issues.

I've gone over this limit on many occasions just by carrying passengers. I've carried 4 adults including myself that average 225 lbs. Right there is 900 lbs. I always got rubbing over bumps. Really, no car should be rated under 900 lbs simply to cover 4 average to larger adults (and that's with nothing in the trunk). Technically, this is a 5 passenger car, although a 5th would have to be a kid.

That's 3000$ worth if alcohol in the trunk and back seat.
