Anyone tried WeatherTech liners?

Really considering a set of these but the one and only photo of the actual 2018 Yaris model on their site makes it look like there isn't much of a lip at the gas-door lever.

Has anyone out there got a set they could share a photo or two of?

A quick forum search produced these threads with pictures of the Weathertech mats...

Here's my post of the 3D brand mats, which I prefer based on their less utilitarian design...

Pics here might help you out. These are Gen2 mats but I don't imagine they've changed much. Lip does appear pretty shallow at the fuel door release lever. Still plenty of depth to protect from typical snow melt. I've not seen any brand of mat with more lip.

There's two people that have done searches for you. With so few active members now, the pool of people to directly respond is miniscule. Historical data is where all the answers lie.

Thanks!

Those 3Ds look interesting. Hadn't heard of them. Are they a hard plastic like the WT, or more like a rubber mat?

They sell them as a triple layer design. The bottom having a velcro effect to cling to the carpet and keep them from moving around, the middle is slim padding and the top is a rubber material. They are quite rigid but also feel comfy. I've been super happy with them.

Is there like a manufacturer's website for them? I'm searching but coming up mainly with Amazon.ca hits (which, oddly, link to empty results within amazon.ca).

I have weathertech mats in two of my Yarii. They're pretty decent at what they do but you have to be careful about slipping once they get all nasty in the wintertime

You mean your feet slip? Seems thats a concern with all of these "hard" liners eh.

I bought mine at AutoAnything, but I can't say they'd have the best price on them at this point in time. Here's a link.

I second ern-diz's 3D liner suggestion. They are great. I have them in both of my Yaris'. They are more flexible and adhere better than the WeatherTechs. They are also easier to remove to clean. I have had WeatherTechs in 3 previous vehicles. WeatherTechs are really good, I just prefer the 3D (Kagu, Aries etc) liners. And...they are less costly.

Actually, ~$132 seems like a pretty good price.

It looks as though you can get WeatherTech both rows for a 2015 - 2018 Hatchback for around $85.00 on eBay. Wonder why the discrepancy in price. The sedan seems to be $100.00 more. Principles of supply and demand?

Neither the Weathertech or 3D liners are meant to be used with carpet mats. They are all-weather mats on their own, cut to fit the foot well.
