Look At My Tool
I bought this nice spark plug tool. Swivel socket / Extension / magnetic head all-in-one at Advance Auto Parts with a 40% off coupon. Wound up costing $7.19. The magnet is very strong so no fishing for falling spark plugs and since the extension is attached no worries there either. The Bosch Iridiums are smooth idling ( I gapped them to .043). The Bosch come pre-gapped at .039.
The tool is of high quality and the brand is GearWrench; part# 80546. Just thought I'd pass it along for those that would rather fish for Tuna.

Nice plugs! Why change them?
Thats a nice sp socket. I made my own by shoe gooing a socket I had to a six inch extension. Lots of frustration before coming up with that idea. I spray the rubber insert with wd40 so it lets go of the sp.

With a 40% off coupon and a $2 per plug rebate from Bosch I couldn't resist. The original factory Denso in the Photo only has 49,500 miles. I just wanted to take a look at my plugs anyway to read them. I'm saving them as backups. Also the Bosch have a tapered ground electrode for supposedly better performance. I had the itch to test them.
