Its really a shame if you are into going fast too, the 3.54 is sooo much better for drag then the 6mt's 3.90. Plus they weigh a good 75 pounds less. I loooved that car. This poor yaris has alot to live up to.

The STI's don't have that problem. You have to pay to play, I guess.

actually STi guys now are running into a new problem, tuners that dont understand AVCS, the bottom ends on the EJ257s giving out, alot of STi owners actually pull their 6 speeds, sell them, and then buy built PPG boxes through Andrewtech. Thats what I wanted to do, but the wait was 5 months and I didnt have that. Plus now with the 09' WRX stock running as good as an STi and with a stronger LGT trans people are just dumping for a WRX and buying the brakes since the WRX comes better equipped.

Fast Evos are why it is so cool I live within spitting distance of Shep Transmissions. I've seen Evos make runs that would make you spooge.

Its not really a new problem, its been an issue in high hp 2.0s for years not just in the 2.5s. If you want to take it literally I partially meant it as the bottomend issue.

I have a good friend with an 05 STI with a Perrin GT35r kit and Meth, last dyno it made 519 at 25psi still internally gated with a brand new block and built bottomend and hes on his way back to the shop for a new motor again.

Only for those select few who take AWD cars to the dragstrip

And although EVOs can own subies, my solo2 region has zero fast EVO's. Heck, i beat most of those guys in the yaris. I'd love to own an EVO. One day i guess.
