Replacing intake manifold gasket

I changed the intake manifold gasket on my 2007 Yaris. It was relatively easy . I took some pics.

I removed air hose between throttle body and filter box and disconnected vacuum lines and radiator cap pipe from throttle body. All bolts and clamps were 10mm

The spec for intake is 30nm. I tested it with a torque wrench before removal. It clicked and fasteners didn’t move . If the intake fastener moved spec would be lower. I got spec from English Haynes manual . I used a matco 8 inch long 1/4 drive ratchet . It worked but if I do it again I’m using my 11 inch long Armstrong 3/8. Thottle body wouldn’t come off. I moved intake forward skipped out old gasket and put new one in. Note old gasket was oily .

Put everything back together and used lisle funnel to add coolant. Run heater on full blast. Funnel helps burp air out . Note bubbles

What was the reason/symptoms for changing the gasket? Just curious.

Intermittent misfire cylinder 1. Turned out to be fuel injector . Thought maybe vacuum leak in intake . The gasket was oily so it wasn’t a bad thing. Plus only cost $11 for a fel pro plus some Toyota coolant
