Newer Toyota Rear Bumpers

I've noticed they are slimmer and not bubbly like previous ones.
They are taking a universal shape and following Japanese bumpers.

So....how is the rear bumper beam mounted? Or is the beam completely slimmer pertaining to DOT standards?

If anyone could post a picture of how its mounted...

YOU DONT NEED TO TAKE BUMPER OFF!

Simply taking an upskirt shot of how it looks underneath will suffice.

New models: 2012 Toyota Yaris, 2012 Toyota Camry...etc.

This could open possibilities for people mounting JDM bumpers on 2nd gen Yaris instead of going the C-One Brace route

Thank You,

Compare the euro bumpers for the Echo to the NA ones, so much better looking because they don't stick out as much (like you said).

I was wondering the same too... From the looks of it they're all following the US sizing. No idea if the non-US cars still have short bars or not... If I see one I'll take an upskirt for your pleasure :D
