It has dry clutches and they dont work well seems like sliding clutches and hard shifting is almost standard with that 7speed DSG gearbox with code DQ200 which is rated for max 250nm. The other DSG gearboxes with wet clutch like a MC is shifting very well and smooth There is the old 6speed which is replaced with 7 speed now, so now they have 3 types of DSG gearboxes. The 7 speed DQ200 with dry clutch you must avoid. And two other 7 speed which is rated for higher torques than 250nm that has wet clutches, they shift very smooth if they are maintained with oil shift every 60000km- I think the Toyota CVT is the only reliable CVT gearbox on the market. There is Prius cabs in germany which has done more than 1million km with original engine and tranny.

Ford double clutch automatic transmission
"double clutch" Ford automatics are having jerky problems.
(but why aren't we talking about RHD conversion?) |

I have a front passenger seat from a VW Rabbit for sale, would be great for a rhd conversion.
