Way to punch a guy right in the feels

My hatch came with the rear drums painted black. Safe to assume you harsh winter folks' also did and it's just long since been weather away? Ten years later and mine are still black, but I'm in the land of virtually no winter...

Yep, winter lets itself be known. I used to, many years back, take them off every spring. Clean them up, wire brush 'em, and paint. Can't be bothered anymore.

Thanks, I've had a couple people say that to me too, these are the only three-spoke rims I find unique.

Tell me about it, they scream "PAINT ME". That's a summer project coming up.

This car is my daily so it has been taking a beating. This winter for us has been quite heavy with the salt.
