And? I wish they would get rid of that goddam MTV-type filming for a start; it is so disjointed and pointless that I just stop watching.

Second, we were doing stuff like this 35 years ago in used-up gravel pits; once we even go to run on a 200-acre lot that used to store ore. It was like concrete (solid), flat like pool table, but slippery dirt, and that was REALLY FUN!

As these get filmed, I find that they are less and less innovative. We were running bracketed reverse garaging and stars, etc, real challenges for drivers, but all I see here is sideways, dust, and horsepower. Show this guy some real challenges!

Have to agree it is becoming more and more commercialized. I do like Block's earlier runs that didn't have the music and had less hyped-up corporate branding attached to them.

Oh well, I guess there are still track days with the Yaris clan to make-up for it. Rather be running than watching anyway...
