Pulsating Vibration
My ’09 yaris sedan has a pulsating vibration only in 5th gear going 60-65mph (2500-2800 RPM) range.
I thought I saw a TSB on some kind of vibration before but now I can’t find it. When I push the clutch in, the slight vibration goes away. So it isn’t an off balance wheel or a bad tire. I’m thinking it has to do with the engine or transmission, since it goes away when the car is in neutral. The vibration is present on acceleration and deceleration. Anyone have any ideas as what would be causing the pulsating vibration. It pulsates about ever 1-1.5 seconds, very slight vibration that you can feel through the whole car. Not the steering wheel, but on the floor pans and seats. Thanks in advance for any input. Its greatly appreciated. |
