I lost a part!

Hi YW'ers!

Upon installing my wiring for an amp and sub, I lost a part to my AC/ClimateControl central console.

I'm driving a 2008 Toyota Yaris YRS LB, and upon pulling out the "traffic light" climate control console, the bottom-most control came out of the socket. When it did, a little sprocket/gear fell out, and I can't find it (I suspect it's underneath the center console, somewhere under the gearstick).... Does anyone know where I could find a replacement?

Thanks,
Aaron

Best bet is to pull out the console. I would imagine that the sprocket itself is only available as part of a larger assembly if one was to purchase it.

Or hit up local junk/salvage yards and dig the part out yourself if you can't find it after pulling up the console (it's super easy, just remove the bolt in the cup holder, and give it a tug up!)

Thanks for the head's up! Thank you for letting me know that it's only the ONE screw I have to undo to pull up the centre-console (which'll make it easier to clean too!)

Thanks again!
Aaron

Yeah, the Yaris is fantastic for pulling apart, and easy to reassemble :)

Except for that front grill eh?

Worst thing about pulling the Yaris about is the fragility of many of the clips holding things together.
