why do we..?

block out our license plate numbers?


what is the risk of having them on a picture?

Some do some dont, juts another measure of security. Even though anyone could see your car anyday and just take a pic, or write down your tag. I stopped blanking out my tag a while ago when taking pics.

unless someone HATES you on YW and they have the "hook ups" to actually find personal info with your license tag (police hookups, hacker hookups?), i don't see the purpose on blocking it out

doh! lol

I hate paying for insurance.. especially when i don't end up using it.. when you need it its nice to have .. its just the 6-7 years you pay for it and never use it...

I've heard some people say they blank their plates so thieves can't find where they live and steal their car

I've seen people put tape on their plate at track days.... that one i'm not sure why lol
