Yaris TS lowered on Tein Basics Coilovers

Posting my Coilover thread again.

A couple of months ago I installed a set of Tein Basics coilovers to my Yaris TS. This is the same kit offered for the US spec Yaris and it Fitted the TS without a problem.

This is the entry level kit from Tein and the only one offered in the US for the Yaris. For the ovearseas folks Tein has other higher end coilovers available. See Tein Japan site for more info.

For more info on my the Basic's kit see: http://www.tein.com/products/basic.html

And this is not even the jewel of the family.

See the all dirty red echo hatch on the back of one of the pics?

That's my bro's 2006 Yaris TS TRD Turbo factory equipped.

Less than ton with 150bhp and no lag turbo... that thingy is fun to drive!

What are your impressions as far as ride quality and handling is concerned? I am considering these to be my next mod. Are they only ride height adjustable and not damping adjustable? Thanks in advance.

I really like them....

Unless you are serious about racing, these might suit you very well...

The ride is superb... the best description I can give you is smooth!

Combined with the TRD swaybar I have very little body roll. I used to ride on Tanabe DF springs and I like these so much beter... Firm but still confortable for daily use.

I haven't had any issues with them so far....

very nice, is that the recommended height Tein left them on? or is that at the lowest setting?
