2nd time auto-x

Running in HSN twice now. First time I did it, got second place... against a Mercedes Benz S500, not sure how that qualifies for H stock.. but oh well its power to rate ratio is not great lol..

Heres the results from that. Towards the bottom is H stock novice where I was at.

Heres my 2nd event, first place :) lots of fun!

Not bad, even if just novice group

HAHA.. any plans for upgrading? I decided to stay in ST class.. suspension and hankook RS-3's 225/45/15 makes a huge difference.

I just started, got to drive a 94 Miata in ESN with race tires and no power steering this time. Don't have the money for upgrading things. A rear sway would be nice but I don't wanna be bumped into a modified class because theres a lot of cars that run fast times around her in those groups lol

everyone that was there keeps saying its on the verge of flipping over. Never does it feel that way or even three wheel. Anyone think stock suspension has that risk?

Yikes. I was thinking about getting rid of the apexi pipe and throwing a rear sway bar and sneaking it in as "stock" since its only local level and dont see myself running scca.

Anyone got an idea of what psi to run? or just the recommended for the oem tires? would a little lower help or would it just piss off the tpsensor?

I run 40 front and 36 rear.. get some tire chalk or street chalk kids use to draw on concrete. mark the sidewalls of your tire and the next time you autox see how far you are rolling on your sidewalls. adjust tire pressure accordingly..

I run ST class with coil overs, Hankook RS-3 (140 tread wear) 225/45 on 15x7 rota gt3, CAI and axle-back exhaust.

I am not saying upgrade to R-comp tires, but some wider tires with less tread wear. Falken Azenis 615 K are a really nice tire also, they sell them only 205/50 in the 15" but that would be perfect for you application. 140 is the lowest you can go in Street Touring.

If I were you, if your gonna stay in Stock class for a bit longer, suggest that you run Stock with street tire class. will help your pax time. People run R-Comp Tires in Stock Class. just a tip.

upgrading rear sway bar will put you in a Street Prepared class..
