I did a search for "supercharger" and found this thread.

as far as i know my engine has yet to blow up. being that the piggyback came pre-tuned i'm not sure what tuning i would need otherwise. unless i raised the psi. i think it's at 7 now and that's seems far too little to do any major damage in such a short time.

the kit did not fit however. the bracket in question had to be altered to fit and i don't think this issue is exclusive to the late models. pretty sure it's just a flaw in PE's design or their adaptation of the superchargers design from overseas. idk. tried to call and work with them (as i could probably make some kind of prototype bracket that would fit at my work) but they were, as usual, pretty uninterested in talking.

but it runs good. there is a video up somewhere on here of a few of us hot rodding it up and down this paved strip within an undeveloped housing community. the videos leave quite a bit to be desired because for one i wasn't all that good at driving it then but i've gotten better. but it's like i told someone else... it's really only as fast now as i think it should have been from the factory. but thats just my opinion.

LOL. The car runs nice with it. He dyno'd around 130, If I recall correctly. The dyno sheet is on here somewhere. We went the same day, and it was obviously stronger and spun-up a lot quicker than my NA car.

His car is what I imagine a TS would be like. Then I cry a little when I realize we'll never get one in the US...

VERY disappointing about their lack of interest from the get go. Glad you are liking it.

yeah i don't know why it wouldn't fit an 09 but that's the story i got
Just curious, from whom? If PE said it, it might have to do with the fuel management, not physical fitment.

the service department at my local toyota dealership told me that. actually they didn't necessarily say it doesn't fit the '09. they just told me it wouldn't fit my car. i went on to assume that this must be because i have an 09. because surely power enterprise wouldn't go selling a kit that doesn't fit at all on any us model yaris. lol. silly me for thinking that.

ok gotcha. does this thread still belong in the "stuff for sale" category? maybe move it to forced induction?
