The procedure itself is not that bad, it is the weeks of agonizing pain, profuse bleeding and unrelenting sensitivity which doesn't allow you to eat anything more than soft baby food afterward that sucks!

Just kidding, I've had a couple myself and they aren't as bad as you'd think. Good luck to ya!

Cheers! M2

I have had 2 of them. I guess I list the worst parts in order.
Sitting there for what seem like an hour with your mouth open with them playing in it.
The kink in the jaw for the next 30 hours after words.
The 500 in cash on the way out the door.
The part of the cap only being a temp that could last for years but will still have to spend more cash on it at one point.

If you know your going to need one take some lie soap and pack it into the top of the tooth it will kill the pain and the nerve in the tooth with helps a lot. But this will heart worse then hell till the root dies.

got back a half hour ago- I officially have the best dentist in the world!
Completely numb no pain at all, although the novacaine is wearing off and the dull throb is setting in. I go back in two weeks for the post and temp.
