Need longer wheel studs
Just picked up some new rims and discovered that i need longer wheel studs in order to fit them.
Does anyone know what size the knurled portion is and where i can get some? I have pressed one out and it measures 12mm but maybe its bigger before getting pressed in? Also does anyone know the thread size for the four bolts that attaches the rear hubs, it appears to be m10 but i dont know the pitch. |

I used IS300 ARP studs
I just installed them and I have pictures at home where I measured the knurl on them. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ar...FdgBgQodEy0B8g I couldn't tell you the pitch on those bolts. If I am not mistaken, I do believe its the same as the caliper bolts up front.

Thanks.
Did you drill the hubs or just pressed them in? The ones you link are a good 2mm bigger than the ones i measured, i guess i could ream the holes if i cant find a suiting stud but then i need to know how much undersized the hole should be. |

I used lancer evolution studs and everything seemed to fit just fine. They are press fit, the fronts were pretty difficult but the rears were easy.

Second that on the ARP Mitsubishi Evo studs.
I was able to install mine with a stack of washers, an old lug nut, a socket wrench and some spray lube.

sadly none off those will fit since the knurled portion is to big, might have to get them anyway and ream the holes :(

did you try the ones noted above? they don't just slip in, they have to be pressed in.

Nope they were 2mm to big to be pressed in, i must have some odd size since mine are smaller. I however found some that were 12.3mm and they pressed in just fine.

This is the knurl on the IS300 studs. 0.003 off from oem.
I can get a pic of the knurl of the OEM one also for reference if you want.
