2010 yaris 13.5K good deal?

Hi all! my first post! I currently drive a supercharged 2004 corolla. I need to buy my fiance a car. I was looking for something that is safe and low cost. Seeing that the Yaris is pretty much the only car that has great crash ratings and comes with stability control and traction control standard. It's a no brainer.

My local dealer has on their website a 2010 Yaris 3 door automatic with convenience package and power package for 13.5K (with the 1k kickback that's being offered right now).

good deal? or keep looking?

btw, i'm in the Los Angeles area.

thanks!

Haha, okay. Here are the two most current offers:

14.5K 2010 3 door yaris power package, convenience package 3.5% apr
14.2K 2010 5 door yaris convenience package, 3.25% apr

both of them qualify for $2000 in rebates ($1,000 for the national offer, and another $1000 for the toyota college program)

so comes out 12.5K and 12.2K respectively

question now, 3 door or 5 door? or forget the 5 door cuz no power?

ONE LAST QUESTION.

one dealership was charging me tax based off of MSRP
and the other dealership was charging me tax based off the sale price. with near 10 percent tax that's a lot of money. What's the "right" way?

thanks everyone!
