2007 Yaris sedan

4drs.
abs rear bearing / connector corroded on mine.
any suggestion guys to prevent it in future...?
im planning to change both hub assy and connector soon. but should i spray some corrosion protecting spray every year to prevent them from corrosion? or what??
i know that toyota replaced harness to different part number but who know its not gonna corrode again.
give me some thoughts guys thanks

Where do you live and how many miles/kms?

I would defninately add that to your list of maintenance items to inspect at every oil change.

I live here in toronto. Canada.
yes here is lots of snow in winter and roads are covered with salt in winter season. i've inspected abs connector in summer time and after one winter it corroded badly...so i think it is good idea to check them every oil change.

I would add some dielectric grease into the connector to prevent rust/oxidation.

thanks i will definitelu put some dielectric grease and rtv to seal the connector up. i hope this will save me for long time~
