Who will win the Australian Open Federer or Nadal
I say Federer. What do you guys think. The final is on tv in 7.5 hours.

Federer is a natural player. Nadal is all about power. On any given day anyone can win. But all thing being equal, I'd put money on Federer.
On a slow court like clay, power has the advantage. On hard court, speed and control has the advantage |

Federer had totally lost his mental and physical fitness in the 5th and it cost him. Well done to Nadal though, now he's won on grass, clay and hardcourt and is a well deserving #1.

I saw highlights and Nadal out played Federer. The question is, can Nadal keep this level up? That intensity is too high for an athlete to maintain for four grand slams per year.

Nadal has played expectionally well in the Oz open...
especially after the gruesome long match with verdasco, I thought he might not perform this well in the finals... but what do you know... he beats Mr. Roger.... But it was a really good fight, no one was ready to back off... Hats off to these super stamina homo sapiens!!!! |

I didn't watch and someone ruined it here. But last year at wimbledon Nadal took over the throne from R-Fed. Nadal is younger fast and always getting better. Fed is migrating towards sampras status lethal in his prime but now not as effective. I'm not saying hes done but the level of competition has certainly been raised. You don't make the final of majors without being a badass.
