I assume they are just air vents to help disapate the heat from the bulbs.

HA! So much for Canada being the frozen north.

No snow here yet with only a couple of nights dropping below freezing.

I do believe they are vents to help from building up condensation on the interior lights, could be the thing of getting rid of heat as well.

Seriously?

I have bluetooth in my car but the microphone is so-so, is that really a microphone in there, or would I have to install one?

In some Asian countries the Yaris has many available luxury options. Surely the microphone is not installed in our econo cars. But search the net you may find the option kit available in the far east.

venting for what ? dumbest thing I have ever heard

it is a mic slot for optional voice control navigation and phone...
what are you gonna do ? lean forward and yell at your stereo for voice
commands ? or have a mic located as close to your head as possible ?
...THINK MAN....

other types of holes like that are for temp sensor for auto temp control
but those are almost 100% located near the knees not the roof

vent...that just makes me giggle. vent WHAT ? nothing generates enough
hot or cold to need to be vented there. just nutty
