Radio sometimes doesn't turn on.

Hi guys.

When ever i start the car the radio would immediately turn on but the few odd occasions, it just wouldn't. I also try to turn it on via the power button and theres no power.

My only way around this is to shut off the car and start it once more. Then every thing will continue to work as normal.

What can possibly be the cause of this?

A fuse need replacing?

Did you do the install? Did a buddy do it? Sounds like a loose connection. I'd say pull the radio out and check the power and ignition wires (red and orange/yellow) and make sure they are solid/secure. Give them a pull and see if they come loose from the connection. If the wires are just twisted and taped, get some butt splice terminals. If there are Blue Scotch locks on the factory wires, they should be Red.

its the factory system.

I'll have someone look at it for me, thanks for your reply.

I really thought i needed to replace a fuse or something.

I had a engine management system install around that time i believe.
