I think we all know where to find the spec, even if we don't know what the exact spec is... but we still don't know the OP's situation. All we know is that the parking brake is "very hard to lift up", which is subjective.

The spec wasn't listed here, so I thought I'd be the 1st to let the OP know what it's supposed to be so we could cut out all the guessing going on about how many clicks is correct (1, 2, 5, 10 and 15): again, it's 6 to 9 clicks @ 200 N (20 kgf, 45 lbf)

From reading your posts, I guess this is not the norm...so I'll have to go in there tomorrow and sit around for an hour while they fix it. Thanks for all your help!

Are you saying this is normal?
Should the braking brake only click twice before its too stiff to go any further?

it's 6 to 9 clicks @ 200 N (20 kgf, 45 lbf) --OEM released specs SO, sounds like they need to loosen it, because they "tightened" them too much, and then it'll be within those factory specs lol

Start another Oil Thread!

so, have them "loosen" it and then you'll have to go back even sooner to get it adjusted again lol.
