20-40$ =). Not much market for factory head units (especially crappy ones) now that aftermarket ones do so much cooler stuff. Advertise it as an FJ/4Runner head unit though (as it's identical to the base unit in those vehicle), and you might get more.

I'm keeping mine to stick back in should I ever sell her (probably won't though!).

Yeah, that particular unit would not sell for more than say $50.

The 6-CD MP3 changer might sell for maybe $100.

After seeing a million unsold listings for stock head units on eBay, I elected to give it away to a forum member for my shipping costs. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1661

Is there anything wrong with that 6-CD/MP3 unit, per se? Are you talking about the Scion/Pioneer one (160 watts)?

I see it going for more than that on EBay... from about $250 to $600.

I'm thinking of swapping that unit in... assuming it will fit.

No, there's nothing wrong with it at all. I always change the head units in all my cars, so I took out the 6CD MP3 unit as soon as there was a proper dash kit for the Yaris Hatchback. It's a Habit

I'm not sure if it's the same as the Scion/Pioneer unit. Mine was silver and it stood out a little too much as my dash and center dash trim is piano black. It's now in my girlfriend's 2001 Celica, and she enjoys it because she has more music with 6CD and MP3 capability.

Scion/Toyota units will fit in the Yaris with no problems, just plug in and fasten. They use the same harnesses.

Cool... Do you think I'd need to buy a mounting kit?
