no not a bit unusual, I changed my pads at about 75k (kms) and there was 7mm left, new ones have 11.4mm. I could have left them in for a lot longer.
Also, recently I inspected the rear shoes and there was 3.6mm left, new ones have 4.6mm. And that's with 135k (kms) on the clock.

You must have a very smooth style of driving and/or do mostly freeway/motorway driving.

Just regularly adjust the star wheel in the rear drums, to keep it tight and even wear. My rear shoes wore unevenly because I let them go out of adjustment.

Had to replace my front rotors and pads at 66,000 miles. Seems really early. I don't brake that much. Down shift a lit. 5 speed 08 hatch. Anyone else done it this early?

I have 101k on mine and never had anything done to the brakes since purchase in 2008. 95% of miles on highway, so my braking per mile is rather low.

No. I bought my Yaris new, and at almost 208k my pads were only 20 % worn.

Do you mean that your Yaris had 120k-130k on it when you bought it and you've put 220k on it since you bought it, or do you have 2 Yari ? (as you posted in December that you have 350k on your Yaris).
