Spoiler attachment question

I have read every post that the word "spoiler" comes up with in search. I can not find anything on how to attach one of the "J's" style spoilers to the Yaris Hatch. I have been looking at pics of several HBs that have them and I can only assume that they have drilled holes and used sheet metal screws or something like that.

Does this sound correct to anyone? Does anyone have any advice on this? The top of the hatch is double walled, so I can not use a nut and bolt setup.

Could someone let me know the method they used?

When I installed an OEM spoiler on a LB, I had to drill 4 holes in the outer skin. It was held in place with 2 clips and two rubber plugs. The rubber plugs had a threaded metal center and when the bolts are inserted and tightened they expand to secure it in the hole. The spoiler also had double sided tape for added security.

Thanks Brian. I will check with Toyota on those plugs.

P/n is 76865-52030 for the rubber retainer and p/n for the screw is 90159-60431. Its about $4 for the retainer and about $.75 for the screw.
