The Upgrade is done, couple questions

- Scion 15x6 alloys (perfect fit)
- TRD rear sway bar
- Tokico Blue Shocks
- TRD red Springs
- Champiro 328 summer performance 195-55-15

I am very happy with the look and the performance is outstanding, don't know why I had so many doubts, this thing handles better than my EG civic ever did.

One concern is at higher speeed bumps I get a knock at the top of the springs. I was unsure how far to tighten the top nuts on the end of the shock rods.

This is the way the car should have come from the factory, the handling is extremely fast and responsive.

did you tighten down the upper suspension bolt while the car was on the ground?

also check the wiper tray bolts, I had a nasty rattle since I forgot to tighten one back down 100%.

No I did't tighten down the upper shock bolt with the wheels planted. I couldnt even find the wiper tray bolt, the\at is such a mickey mouse cowling.
Back to work on it tommorrow, but it handles so quickly it is mind blowing

Thanks for the suggestions.

I noticed the top hat of the shock where it sticks up thru the firewall isn't flush, its lik there is nothing supoorting the shock rod at the top. Looks like I need to pull them and tightendown both nuts?

Regal,

Not to diss your choice of tires, but if you went with something else, (most anything performance), you may have seen a greater handling improvement.

Yea the tire were sold to me as summer performance tires, I really haven't had them lose grip so I dont think they are the limiting factor. If I can figure out the knock I'll be golden.
