Hatch Turn signals

Can anyone report if their turn signals cancel properly?
I have about 300miles on my hatch and have noticed if I don't cut the wheels hard to make a turn or just a Y in the road they wont cancel. All my other Toyota's never did this! I have even noticed that I had left them blinking like an idiot for miles, inviting people to pull out in front of me
WTH? And this car has an electronic flasher I don't hear any clicking. The center dash indicators are too far for me to notice them blinking. Any comments?

Same frustration here, along with headlights that don't auto shut off like the last 4 Toyota vehicles I owned.

Gotta learn to check.

I don't know why Toyota got rid of the clicking sound for the blinker. The wife's Sienna is the same way.

I'm much to young to be driving around the world to the left.

Yep....I've noticed the same thing. Sensitive horn, blinkers that don't turn off, rattles when in reverse or backing up, and strange smell from A/C

by sensitive i meant easy for it to be activated. It seems the same cars with the turn signal issue only need to lightly hit the steering wheel for the horn to activate.

Do you have a liftback? Is the rattle in the hatch door, the console or elsewhere?

Liftback. Rattling comes from somewhere in the front of the car whenever I've in reverse.

I have not notice any trouble. Mine has the normal signal sound and you have to turn at lease a 1/2 turn to get the signal to cancel.

What does that have to do with the topic of discussion in this thread?

It's the exhaust
no fix
It's just the torque on the engine in reverce pulling against the exhaust, in drive it pushes against and there is no noise.
As the hangers wear/stretch over time the rattle will go away.

My turn signals don't like to cancel out either, even after a sharp turn.. but it's alright, it could be a lot worse. I had an 06 Scion xA and the horn was extremely sensitive and I'd honk it accidentally and scare myself, hahaha It's nice this horn isn't as sensitive.
