swapping radios from '09 to '06 RS possible ??

I am one of the people who have been spoiled with YARIS reliability - for over 6 years in my case -
I am doing deliveries in Alberta, CAN and I am now on my 3rd YARIS , bought 2 years ago. First 2 were a 2006 RS manual hatch and a 2007 manual hatch as well. Manual, 4 doors hatch YARIS is my ideal delivery car.

Recently I have bought a 4th one : blue 2006 manual RS hatch with 59,000 km on it.
My actual 2009 manual non-RS has now close to 170,000km on it so I will let it go in a few months and start to enjoy the much lower mileage blue 2006 RS.

I will be missing the heated mirrors from 2009 - I read that it would be too much hassle to transfer those to a 2006 model -. I am comfortable with swapping the tires, changing the oils or replacing bulbs./filters but I wouldn't get in swapping mirrors as that would be too complicated. Or too expensive of I will ask a mechanic to do it.

However I plan to swap the central consoles between 2006 and 2009 as 2006 RS has an armrest which makes the shifting a pain even if armrest is put in a vertical position ; plus that your water bottle will be seating too further towards the back. Swapping the consoles shouldn't be hard as far as I have read.

I would also like to swap the radio units so that to have the 2009 radio with aux input put in my 2006 RS which only has an MP3 player radio. Would that be possible or the harness / jacks will be different - which I think they will - ?? Having an aux input in the 6-speakers 2006 RS would be awesome.
I assume that the 2009 , like the previous 2006-2008 non RS models had only 4 speakers !
Radio seems easy to remove - a few trims and screws -.

When I went from my 2007 RS to the 2009 non RS hatch - 2 years ago - I thought I won't get used to the newer softer seats with less lateral support. But in 2 weeks I got used to and now I love the softness of the non RS.
Time to readjust to the firmer seats of the RS now !
The RS feels to have a sharper handling ! Does it has a bit modified suspension comparative to the non RS models or it's only the firmer seats making you believe so ?

Sorry for my long story. I hope I posted it in the right subforum.
In 2012 I was reluctant to buy a YARIS being a 6'3'' guy. It was my father from Romania who convinced me as he knew how reliable and economical this car is . He had a 2006 1.4 D4D YARIS - bought new, sold very recently - with GREAT torque and fuel economy.
BTW, they made the Diesels from Europe better insulated so the windnoise is definitely reduced comparative to the gas engines. Also the diesels being heavier they are more stable on the hwy speed. I drove his car too and I felt the difference !

Would greatly appreciate any inputs in regards to the radios swap !

The radios are the same. AFAIK, the rest of the interior pieces are all the same as well.

The mirrors should fit too, just no idea about fitting the wiring. The difference between the gen2 (06-08) and gen 2.5 (09-11) is merely cosmetic

How did the 2006 RS get 6 speakers? Confused.

If radios are the same then I am lucky. Thank you . I guess I will just have to go ahead with taking them out.

I was wrong in regards to the speakers : RS like the regular non-RS YARIS has 4 speakers. Only the bottom trim CE 3-doors had 2-speakers
