VSC and ABS lights on.
Diagnostics showed left front abs sensor fault, but changing it for new one did not help. Signals got thru from ABS "brain" and wiring were OK, but couldnt read the wheel locking. Inside the wheel drum we saw a lot of rust, could this be the cause? Has anyone had this kind of problem?

had the exact thing happen on my 09 tacoma.changed the wheel bearing hub assembly.got both lights.changed the sensor, didnt help, traced the harness and bought the lower one.didnt help.swapped the sensor from the rear to the front, didnt help.lights clear at about 28 mph, but come back on at 62 or so.went thru some water one time and it did the same thing, but it cleared the next day.

Took some time, but all OK now.
Took it to dealership and they found broken wire somewhere between abs sensor and enginebay. All good now, though i have some doubts about wire being broken. |
