NW Yaris Meet

Has anyone thought about doing a NW Yaris meet? I think it would be kinda fun to arrange a meet like the do down in California. Just a thought. I've only seen about 6 liftbacks in my entire state, and half of those were at the dealership, and there is only 1 LB besides mine in my town.

I'm seeing more and more of our Yari...(funny plural)...If we were to meet it should be at a halfway point or a motorsports event of some sort. It's prolly too late to meet for Subiefest down here at PIR on the 7th...

Ideas?

Olympia???

Sqcomp - if you see a black LB in your area with foglights and a chrome exhaust tip, and driven by an older lady, it's likely my sister.

Olympia isn't too far for me. I can say though when I went to Seattle last September I didn't see a single Yarii, no liftbacks or sedans. I even had people stop and ask about the car, mostly if it was a hybrid. I just think it would be fun to meet with fellow Yaris owners at a meet. Im sure it would attract attention. As long as I could keep my drive to around 3 hours or less (one way) i'll be happy

I can't make meets farther than a couple hours north of portland oregon or a couple hours south of salem. I don't have childcare that can watch the kid for a full day or overnight trip :(

My schedule will be changing over the next six months...but Olympia? MMMMM... I don't know. Maybe. I have a brother that lives in Gig Harbor. I still think meeting at a motorsports event is a good idea, because then we have another reason for being there.

YarisWorld Newbie

Hello All! I'm new to this forum....not totally new with the Yaris. I had an '07that just got totaled recently. Very bad man in a Ford F-150 that took off after he ran me off the road and rear-ended me.

But I now have an '08 replacement Yaris, and I think it would be a lot of fun to mod it. Right now the only difference I have is that it's lowered and has TRD rims & 18's on it.

So anyway, I saw this thread and I thought a meet-up sounds fun and I thought I would say "Hi"

Ha, my girlfriend is also originally from SoCal, LA and then Visalia. I'm from Yakima, WA.

I've been thinking of attending that event. One of my favorite things about moving to Portland is I don't have to drive as far and can attend more events.

Derperateauto- I put a flyer on your window Monday at the loyd center parking lot. Wrote a note, but it was raining pretty good. Recognized your car.
