Quick update; big upgrade and maintenance week.

Got a deal on a set of Michelin Defenders and got them mounted on the OE scion wheels today. Next up for the red car is serpentine belt, exhaust leak fix, and a detail.

My silver cars brakes started grinding, so this weekend the stoptechs go on.

My black car is pretty much set, I'll be trading wheels between this and the red one, due to my disdain for aftermarket wheels.

Fleet should be ship shape after this weekend, ready for some more work.

I just realized the Yaris I got for my parents is just like your '08, same wheels and everything. The Yaris was available with those wheels for the first year or so.

I really like the wheels you have on the other two as well, especially the black one.

That's funny, I like the wheels a lot for stockers. I hate hub caps even more than I hate aftermarket cheap wheels, so this setup will do it

I think so, I just remember them being expensive lol. I kept warping the cheap auto parts rotors so last time I spent the money on stop techs, they lasted around 150k miles, hoping these do as well

Got a line on another car, this one may be a forever one. 4 door, power stuff, cruise, keyless, manual. Hoping to get it around $4500. Black car looks to be sold, as well as the red one. We'll see what materializes

Well, an Asian women pulled out in front of me tonight, and that's the end of my favorite Yaris I've ever had.

344k trouble free miles, thanks for the memories, silver friend. Now the hunt for the perfect replacement is in full force.

I'm glad you're safe, and I know I'm new here and don't want to possibly victim blame but I need to point out...

The '12 hadn't no place for it. It was also bumpier

It had much better curb appeal and the build qualify felt a touch better, but overall those things were enough to not enjoy driving it.
I hope this has nothing to do with your accident.

Dang. I'm sorry to see that, but glad you're okay. Cars can be replaced; people can't.

Honestly it didn't lol. I was for sure watching (more so listening) to a podcast while it happened, I saw her pull out in front of me, but nothing I could do. It was raining, she was cited, multiple witnesses saw it.

Wreck happened at 9pm last night, looked at a replacement at 1am, brought it home this morning.
2010 4 Door hatchback
5 speed
Manual transmission
Power windows, locks, cruise control
102k miles
Bought it from the original owner
$4700

Not bad considering the circumstances.

Thanks brother. I'm sour my high mileage contender won't be able to see 500k+, but I didn't die so I'm stoked about that.

I was very impressed by the structural soundness. The front end is ripped up, but doors are still in place, everything seems straight.

I really love this silver car. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, it was leaking oil on the flat bed, so it seems as though something important is hurt lol. I'm going to dig in and see the odds of a budget rebuild after buying back from insurance. Even if I just use awful body panels, or find a donor car. Not sure, I'm not ready to say goodbye lol
