Autocross Oct. 7 2012

86fest (86fest.com) was a really great event yesterday, celebrating the new Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ, aka "FT 86". Huge car show, vendors, food, open track day and autocross.

I chose the easy way out and did autocross, here's a clip of one pass. I think I got about 6th best time of 70-80 cars, but there might have been another couple of cars faster than me -- pretty casual, we kept track of our own times from the posted timer.

I need to get out there more often.

Yeah...I got my tranny and clutch replaced but the car is still in a stockish state so I'm not expecting much. I've been dying to see that car of your run in person.

If you do end up going please let me know. Also if you're okay with me hooking up my DAQ to your car I'm curious what kind of numbers it'll end up spitting out. I'll give you all the data when its done recording.

Can't go this Sunday, have domestic commitments. But then I'm free for a whole month.
