on the website......they adjusted the mpg ratings to 35 or 36 for highway....whys that? I'm guessing because of the strict mpg tests their running for all 2008 models and up...read it somewhere when i was looking to buy a 2008 Mitsu Lancer GTS

If the 08 Yaris has 35 or 36 mpg for highway, then Im glad I got the 07 version ^_^

Spoiler is a $200 option. Alloys are also an option, or part of the power package but you can get the power package with steelies also.

Mileage is still the same. The testing procedures were changed to simulate more "real world" driving conditions which lowered the numbers printed on the window sticker.

In my neck of the woods, those woods being in the Mid-Atlantic states, the spoiler is a $200 option on the Yaris S Hatchback. The only way to get the alloy wheels is to specify the power pack with alloy wheels option.

Thats exactly what I did with my Focus. I found one with the Street Appearance Package (factory body kit) because it was pretty rare. As soon as I got it on went an RS body kit, keeping the SAP mint.

great minds think alike!

Yesterday, I bought a 2008, Black, 3DR Hatchback, YARIS RS. I am pumped! I would like to pimp my ride at little, funk it up, and I have no clue ... any suggestions.

I'm okay with the front and sides, but not a fan of the squares on the rear bumper.
