yeah i jumped on it when i saw it advertised plus i got a graduate rebate which made it more tempting. i was told that the evo 9 was on its way but i knew i could not pass up the 0% and i also realized that the 8 already had all the power i needed. i however realized later on that it could not make almost 300whp,300wtq unlike the evo 9 with just a tune though.:)

What do you suggest other than saving big cash and paying off the remaining in 1 hit? re-finance with lower APR in near future perhaps?

And how do you get that .5%+?

-- Blen
the .5% i meant was if i financed my car for 5.5% and placed 12,000 in the bank on CD for 6%, then i still gained .5% rather than paying for the car outright and i can always divert the money to wherever it is needed.:) hope this clarifies my odd theory. hehe

Wow, graywolf, I thought I was paying high. You just made me feel a little better about my purchase. :-) with a credit score of 520-540, what APR did they charge you?

I have a feeling they have a problem finding a bank to finance my loan though, because I have gotten five letters from various bank that have declined to finance the car. I think the finance manager is farming out my loan to a bunch of banks and has not found a taker yet. But it's been over 10 days already so they can not take the car back, according to the contract. I wonder how this is going to turn out.

I am paying 302.50 on a 4 year loan - I traded in a troublesome 2001 Audi A6 2.7T on the Yaris and I am glad I did, it only had 2 months left on the CPO warranty and had been in the shop for something at least once a month during the short time I owned it. My loan balance on the Audi was like $12342. Credit score is probably under 620. The dealer gave me $12,500 on the Audi and the Yaris sticker was like $11900. I had my stereo shop install a head unit and sub/amp for less than $500 and it sounds great. They also put in a cruise control so I am all set. Cruise, Air and 500 watt sound system less than $13K out the door :)

Well it would be 366 with out the gap which I am going to get rid of to save money. I even had a cosigner that has like a 650 credit score. It was my gf and combined we make like 3400 b4 taxes. I got on the toyota site and it says my payments should be like 290 a month. They are suppose to call me when ever they get me financed and when they do I will tell them I want payments closer to 300.

nothing down. crappy ass credit. $358 a month for 72 months.

i went in with a 'good' condition 2004 Pontiac Vibe. was looking to lower my payments by getting a used car, nothing special. walked out making the same exact payments for my 2007 Yaris. i put nothing down and my credit score is below 500.

Aside from gas and the money put aside to replace the rims & stereo/speakers, nothing. Paid for it up front. Put a little money aside every month for a year while I researched cars.
Originally was somewhat set on getting a used Nissan Sentra until I came across an ad for this car on Edmunds.

I traded in my Mazdaspeed Miata (MX-5 for you non-Americans) which I still owed on. No money down either. I came out a little upside down but not too bad.

$350 a month for 48 months.

Making advanced payments as well to be done sooner.

I'm paying about $295 a month for 60 months with a 6yr/75,000 gold warranty. My interest rate was 6% though, which helped a lot. Had -$200 for my explorer trade-in. No money down.

No.. I had to carry over $200 which was the difference of trade-in and payoff.
